Reveal Insight, LLC is small independent legal nurse consulting firm that was established in May of 2003 and re-branded in February 2009. Reveal Insight, LLC was formed to assist insurance companies, individual attorneys, law firms and administrative agencies and their teams better serve their clients in medical legal cases. Linda Carey, RN, LNCC, president,
instills the same honesty, caring, and understanding in her company that she gave to patients and their families when working clinically.

Linda has a wide variety of experiences in both the medical and legal fields, which shows in her work. Linda began her career as a licensed practical nurse in 1976 at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center. While continuing to work, Linda advanced her education, becoming a registered nurse while attending classes Mercy College, in Toledo, Ohio. Linda continued to work at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center for over 15 years, in a multitude of units and positions including, vascular intensive care unit and nurse educator for woman’s care.
Linda also spent time working as an RN outside the hospital setting while working for The American Red Cross and Genito-Urinary Surgeons, Inc, both in Toledo. As an RN at the American Red Cross, Linda worked with the plasmapheresis team collecting platelet donations and working with in-house patients providing therapeutic plasmapheresis treatments. As an RN at Genito-Urinary Surgeons, Linda was responsible for assisting in outpatient surgery, monitoring patients post operatively, administering treatments, as well as phone triage and completing medical history’s and physicals on patients.
When deciding to continue her education, Linda decided that the paralegal studies program at the University of Toledo was the right choice. Linda acquired her degree and Nurse Paralegal Certificate, then began working in the medical-legal field as a legal nurse consultant. Linda uses her knowledge and personal experiences as a nurse to assist legal teams with their medical legal cases. Since February 2002, Linda has subcontracted to a large variety of attorney’s, legal teams, and legal nurse consulting firms. She worked on worker’s compensation cases, medical malpractice cases, personal injury, no-fault insurance claims, and product liability cases. Linda has also spent time volunteering at Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc (ABLE). While volunteering at ABLE Linda provided her professional skills to the underprivileged in her community.
In October 2009, Linda achieved certification [LNCC] from the American Association of Legal Nurse Consulting, the national association for the nurses practicing in this area, which distinguishes her as an expert in the field of legal nurse consulting.
In Linda’s spare time she enjoys camping with her family; husband, John; son, John; daughter, Chelsea-Lynn; and family pets Champ and City Kitty. The Carey family enjoys the rustic appeal and the laid back environment of camping, as well as the usual “get-away” from their busy lives. Linda appreciates nothing more than the time to sit at the campsite talking with friends or reading a good book and relaxing.
Linda’s other passions are quilting, counted cross-stitch, traveling and supporting her family in all of their endeavors, whether it is recreational sports or educational and career objectives.
